Alexis Exum

Alexis is a graduate student in the Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology program. She received her Master of Professional Studies in Clinical Psychology degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her research interests include binge eating, obesity, and the diagnostic classification of eating disorders in underrepresented populations. Alexis is also interested in the relationship between environment and neurocognition in the development of eating disorder pathology. She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In her free time, she enjoys painting and creative writing.
