Summary

Tina Lai is the Clinical Care Coordinator and assists with quality assurance, compliance with clinical research protocols, and program development at the KU Center for the Advancement of Research on Eating Behaviors (CARE). She is very excited to join Dr. Kelsie Forbush and her team of dedicated research students and staff to develop effective tools to promote healthy eating behaviors.

 

After spending nearly a decade in program management and data analysis at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the California Institute of Technology, Tina is pursuing a Master’s in Social Work at the University of Kansas. She is particularly committed to developing programming for older adults who have limited or no resources, especially those experiencing loneliness and social isolation. Along with providing student representation on the School of Social Welfare advisory boards, she also regularly volunteers in the local community. Tina loves to make quilts for friends, family, and random people and has created over 50 quilts so far.
